How to teach your kids or self Brainstorming
Kids cognitive development is important. Staring young kids need to be engaged. Kindergarten or 1st grade you can do this with your kids or even in pre-school. This can be done as a game. How to Brainstorm on Paper You begin the main subject and then add on to other sub-topics until you cant think of anything else. The image below shows how to brainstorm using this technique on paper for the main subject Food. You first start with the main circle Food. This is what everything else is derived from. Draw a circle and write Food in the middle. Then think of as many types of foods as you want. When you think of a Food then draw a stem to a new circle and write the sub-group of Food like Sandwich, Pasta, or Vegetables. Then from those sub-groups you draw stems to more sub-group circles and so on till you exhaust all possibilities. This can be done for fun, early learning schoolwork, or even when you want to do something with work. You can start with any subject as long as you have a piece of paper and a writing utensil. Early Learning The benefits for kids might be helping them think and read. Some kids learn to read in pre-school so this might be a good exercise for them.
